    EXAMINATIONS DEPARTMENT

    We offer diagnostic testing, registration and preparation for most examinations required for admission to United States, Canadian and Australian Universities. We specialize in TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), TSE (Test of Spoken English), SAT 1 & II (Scholastic Aptitude Test), GMAT(Graduate Management Admission Test) and GRE (Graduate record Examination). We also have Correspondence Diagnostic Testing Services for those who are very far from Nairobi. In addition we have Exam Registration Bulletins for all these exams at our Center.

    Most of the students especially for the TOEFL come from countries in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South America and Eastern European countries. For the other 3 exams, we get most candidates from Kenya and other countries. The GMAT and GRE are taken by those aspiring to do the Masters degree as well as the doctorate.

    The courses range from about 2½ weeks to about 2½ months depending on the students ability and performance on the diagnostic test. Sometimes the preparation period is determined by the proximity of the official exam date.

    We offer classroom instruction, listening lab, computer instruction and practice. Our materials are up-to-date and come directly from the Education Testing Service, the body which is responsible for making the actual tests. We have very recent past exams both on paper and in the computer. We have audio cassettes for the TOEFL and plenty of practice questions for all the tests. We administer classroom practice tests very regularly to determine the progress of our students. We insist on extra practice so we give assignments to the students everyday. Our books and exam preparation software are updated regularly.

    We do not offer any local certificates, but after sitting the diagnostic test, we provide a report card and upon sitting the official exam, the candidates receive their results directly from ETS (the examination testing body in the United States).

    Our teachers are very qualified and mainly experienced to handle the preparation for these tests. Among them are the initial founders of the American Universities and Colleges Admission tests preparation and diagnostic services during the mid 1980's. We have tested and successfully prepared very many students during this period. Our preparation success story can be attested to by our former students who have gone on to become prominent people in society.

    We also provide University Placement/Search Service whereby we help prospective students look for very nice Universities and colleges abroad, help them with the application process and guide them on visa application requirements.

    Our Exam Preparation department also has on offer tuition programs for Mathematics. We help students from secondary and primary schools prepare for their final year examinations in this subject.

    Since our school is a City & Guilds Examinations Centre, students can register and sit for these external exams here.
